College Board Welcomes Incoming Leadership and Eight New Trustees
College Board welcomed a chair, vice chair, and eight new Trustees to its 31-member governing board following the Annual Meeting of Members at the College Board Forum.
The new board members bring a wealth of experience and knowledge from schools, districts, and universities across the country. These new Trustees were elected by College Board member delegates, and will represent different areas and segments of College Board’s membership as follows:
Incoming Board Leadership
- Tom Moore, Superintendent, Niles Township High Schools District 219, Skokie, Ill., was elected to a second term as Chair.
- Kris Wong Davis, Vice Provost for Enrollment Management and Dean of Admission, Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, Pa., was elected to serve as Vice Chair.
- Ronné Turner, Vice Provost for Admissions and Financial Aid, Washington University in St. Louis, St. Louis Mo., will serve as Past Chair.
Nationally Elected
- Aimée Eubanks Davis,Founder and CEO, Braven, Chicago, Ill.
- Art Rodriguez,Vice President and Dean of Admissions and Financial Aid, Carleton College, Northfield, Minn.

- Karen Ritter, Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction, Community High School District 117, Lake Villa, Ill. (representing the Midwest Region)
- Chad Spencer, Vice President for Enrollment Management, Centre College, Danville, Ky. (representing the Southern Region)

The Board of Trustees, made up of 31 members, serves as the primary governing body of College Board, a not-for-profit organization, with guidance from the three national assemblies and six regional assemblies. The chair, vice chair, immediately preceding chair, and CEO of the College Board, represent its leadership. Twelve Trustees are elected by the membership at the Annual Meeting of Members. Nine Trustees are elected by their respective regional assembly delegates. Six Trustees are elected by the national assembly delegates which include the chairs and immediately preceding chairs of the assemblies.
The Board of Trustees is responsible for fulfilling key fiduciary responsibilities, approving the mission, annual budget, strategic goals, and objectives of the organization, and advising the CEO, who is responsible for the management of the organization.
