College Board Welcomes 8 New Trustees

NEW YORK—Eight new Trustees have joined the 31-member governing board of the College Board following the Annual Meeting of the Members on Friday, November 8, 2019, during College Board Forum in Washington, D.C.

The new Trustees bring a wealth of experience and knowledge from districts and universities across the nation.

The following candidates were elected to serve on the Board of Trustees 2019–2023:

• John Barnhill, Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management, Florida State University, Tallahassee, Fla.
• Susan Enfield, Superintendent, Highline Public Schools, Burien, Wash.
• Yvette Gullatt, Vice Provost for Diversity and Engagement and Interim Vice President for Student Affairs, University of California System, Oakland, Calif.
• Elmer Guy, President, Navajo Technical University, Crownpoint, N.M.
• Rachelle Hernandez, Senior Vice Provost for Enrollment Management, The University of Texas at Austin, Austin, Texas
• Tim Keirn, Director of the University Secondary Credential Program, California State University, Long Beach, Calif. Samantha Veeder, Associate Dean of College Enrollment and Director of Financial Aid, University of Rochester, Rochester, N.Y.
• Kristina Wong Davis, Vice Provost for Enrollment Management, Purdue University, West Lafayette, Ind.

The Board of Trustees administers the not-for-profit organization with guidance from three national assemblies and six regional assemblies. College Board Trustees are responsible for assisting in legal and fiduciary decisions; approving the mission, strategic goals, and objectives of the organization; establishing policies; and advising those responsible for the management of the organization. Each assembly provides College Board with guidance on issues and activities related to their areas of professional interest, and elects Trustees to ensure a balance of regional and professional perspectives.
