April 16: Free Virtual College Fair Offers Advice on Selecting a College and Comparing Financial Aid Awards

NEW YORK — The College Board, a not-for-profit organization that connects students to college success and opportunity, and CollegeWeekLive, a leading provider of virtual college admission events, invite Latino high school students and their families to Destino: Universidad (Destination: College) — the third in a series of five free bilingual virtual events on Tuesday, April 16 from 5 to 8 p.m. EDT.

Each video session offers students and parents the opportunity to ask questions and get answers from college and university admission experts available to chat live. 

The schedule of presentations on April 16 (all times Eastern) includes:

5–6 p.m. “Comparing Aid Awards”

Destino: Universidad is a collaborative effort among universities, colleges, school districts and community-based organizations to provide Latino families with college planning resources. Additional dates in the Destino: Universidad series include Thursday, May 2, 2013 and Wednesday, June 12, 2013.
